“Less of my trash” is a project that focuses on keeping all of the cardboard and plastic waste generated out of her own personal and professional consume during 2016, in order to make an art piece with all the waste.
“There is a lot of information you can get from your trash. An important idea behind this project is to see the “volume” of what one person consumes. Through this, the target is to make this volume smaller every month, and to raise a consciousness about what we leave behind as trash. It makes me aware and it is a daily reminder of my routine and tendencies. Also, it shows me how unimportant packaging is, how impassive we are about buying things that are stealing so much from the nature and all the energy resources, even if they are recycled.”
This is still a work in progress.
